01 / UNDERSTAND THE ARCHITECTURE

From signals.
To information.

IO-Link is a point-to-point connection between a device and a master port. The master then connects the data to the controller network. Bidirectional communication brings together process values, parameters and diagnostic information.

Conceptual diagram. Protocols, ports and functions depend on the selected products.

Configure in one place

Centralise settings for compatible devices and manage your configurations with the appropriate tools.

See beyond the signal

Use available diagnostics to identify faults and plan maintenance.

Organise connections

Suitable masters and hubs bring signals together close to the machine.

02 / BUILD YOUR SOLUTION

The right components.
In the right places.

Balluff Engineering Tool

Plan topologies, discover devices and centralise configuration. BET also supports testing, documentation and backup of compatible configurations.

Condition Monitoring Toolkit

Combine IO-Link sensors with condition data collection and analysis. Available interfaces share information with local or cloud-based systems.

05 / PUT IT TO WORK

Your machine.
Your application.

01

Robotics

Plan gripper changes and moving equipment with a suitable architecture.

02

Conveying

Identify workpiece carriers, collect signals and follow operations.

03

Maintenance

Use available condition data to organise equipment maintenance.

04

Production & logistics

Make field data available to control systems and analysis tools.

The essential questions.

Does IO-Link replace the controller network?

The master connects IO-Link devices to the industrial network. Each IO-Link device communicates with a master port; the controller-side protocol depends on the chosen master.

Can conventional sensors be connected?

Yes, through appropriate inputs/outputs or hubs. Check the signal type, power requirements and specifications for every product.

How do I select the components?

Define the controller protocol, signals, distances, environment and required data. APM helps select the components and validate the configuration.

Privacy policy

Last updated: 20 October 2026

This policy explains how APM Technologie uses information associated with browsing the catalogue, requesting quotations and contacting our team.

1. Who can you contact?

APM Technologie is your contact for data relating to your commercial enquiries. Address: 29, rue Augustin Sourzac, Résidence La Barbera, Casablanca, Morocco. Telephone: +212 522 86 58 51. For privacy questions or to exercise your rights: info@apm-technologie.com.

2. What information is processed?

The forms collect your name, company and email address, which are required to record and process your request. Your phone number is optional; a message is required for a contact enquiry. Quotation requests also record selected references, quantities and configuration notes, together with a tracking reference, dates and enquiry status. Please avoid submitting sensitive or confidential information unrelated to your request.

Technical information may be used to secure the service and limit abusive submissions: connection data processed by the hosting provider, an account identifier when access is authenticated, and a technical fingerprint for request rate limiting. The catalogue has no online payment facility and does not collect bank or card details.

3. Why do we use this information?

This information is used to prepare your quotation, check references and configurations, answer your questions, follow up on commercial and technical enquiries, and protect the operation of the website. Submitting an enquiry does not subscribe you to a newsletter. APM has not added advertising or audience analytics tools to this catalogue.

4. Local selection and cookies

Hosting and, where applicable, signing in to the website may use technical mechanisms needed for authentication, security and access management.

5. Recipients and external services

Enquiries are intended for authorised APM personnel who handle them. The website uses technical service providers for secure hosting and enquiry storage. When an email notification service is enabled, it processes the information needed to deliver notifications to APM. These services may involve infrastructure outside Morocco.

Some images are loaded from manufacturers’ servers. Displaying them may share technical connection information with those servers. Links to manufacturers’ websites, documents, drawings or CAD files open external services that have their own privacy policies.

6. Retention and security

Submitted enquiries are stored so that they can be processed and followed up. They are not automatically deleted when you close your browser. Contact APM to ask about the retention period for your enquiry or to request deletion. Some information may need to be retained for a legal obligation, a dispute or an ongoing commercial relationship.

Connections use HTTPS and access to enquiry management is restricted to authorised people. No electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed risk-free. Please do not include passwords or bank details in your message.

7. Your rights

Moroccan Law No. 09-08 provides rights including access, rectification and objection on legitimate grounds. You may also request correction, erasure or blocking of inaccurate, incomplete or outdated data under the conditions provided by that law.

Send your request to APM with your email address and, if possible, your enquiry reference. Proportionate verification of your identity may be needed. You may also contact Morocco’s National Commission for the Control of Personal Data Protection:
